Standing in front of Penelope's room in the SCW towers, Prysm bit her lip. She was nervous, one of the few times in her life. Prysm was usually brave, almost to a fault. But right now, standing in front of the room of the woman whom she had valiantly won a date with... she was anything but the typical brave and lighthearted Prysm. In her place at the current moment was a slightly scared and insanely nervous Prysm, a sight not many people would ever get to see. Prysm was making this out to be a really big deal. She had made reservations at a restaurant, she had set aside plans for after the meal... she had even dressed up. Yes, it was an odd sight to see Prysm dressed up as fancy as she was. It was something that Prysm never did usually unless for a special occasion, and she figured tonight was as special a night as any. The dress that she was wearing tonight; was specially designed just for her by one of her friends, Arlene Fontaine, from back home. Arlene was an aspiring fashion designer, and jumped at the opportunity to make a dress for one of her friends. Something about the Art of the Dress just got her all giddy. Arlene went all out to boot and even made some matching accessories. To go with the rainbow dress were a pair of golden Roman sandals, since Prysm couldn't walk in heels without excessive help and to top it all off, two golden leaf hairpins to hold back her multi-colored hair. Given that Prysm had beaten Penelope a few nights ago at Fight Night; she hoped that she wasn't bitter about it. It was a fair match, and could have gone either way; Prysm just happened to come out on top. Prysm knew that if it hadn't been for Mikki's impromptu and consisten training, that there would have been no way that she could have done nearly as well as she did. Thinking about Mikki; her words came to mind nearly instantly. Did she really know what she wanted? Maybe Mikki was right. The fact that she could have been right was just another fuel to the fire of Prysm's nervousness. Which was the fear that Penelope would turn her down for tonight, or just try not to have a good time. Spending the whole night thinking it was going to or was sucking, and completely ignoring any efforts Prysm was putting forth. So many things could go wrong tonight; and that was causing Prysm to have a mini nervous-breakdown in the hallway. Usually at a time like this, Prysm would start to bite her fingernails but since they had recently been painted she decided against that. Prysm's thoughts raced a mile a minute, but at least there weren't voices telling her to go eat muffins this time. God did she regret that night completely. Those muffins did not agree with her during the hard training. Finally mustering up the courage, she takes a step towards Penelope's door. Hesitating ever so slightly as her hand was extended, about to make contact with the door. Was she strong enough to do this? She wasn't sure, she didn't know if she would just make a fool out of herself tonight. She had no idea if she would complete mess up every single possible thing, which was always a possibility. But she knew that she had to take a risk to succeed. Just like in the ring, high risks yield big rewards. Taking one last breath, she knocked on Penelope's door a couple of times, with enough force that she should have heard. She wouldn't run. She wouldn't tell Penelope she couldn't go through with it, No, she had gone through far too much for this to back down or back out. A slight smile crossed her face as she waited for Penelope to come to the door. The smile wasn't forced, she was genuinely happy now that she realized exactly what she was doing, and didn't doubt herself.

"I hate this." Restlessly frustrated, Penelope Lea, now former Sin City Wrestling Hellcats Champion, was pacing back and forth in her room. An ongoing trouble was flustering in her head as she mentally tried to wrap her mind around the idea of no longer being the center of everyone's attention. She never entertained the thought of actually losing to Prysm Ray, she never even considered the possibility of her winning. Penelope Lea thought she had the needed ability, the blessed charisma, and the drive to forever be Hellcats Champion, yet, through a rainbowed twist of fate, here she was, a former champion without having a single successful title defense under her belt. She had set expectations not only for herself, but for the public image she hoped to represent to the assumed millions of people who watched her. A huge let down, a horrible disgrace, a joke of a champion, neither of these qualities were what she hoped to project from her actions, however they were gleaming, taunting her as she dreadfully gazed at her own reflection in the mirror. Somehow, despite her innate hatred for Prysm Ray, Penelope had allowed herself to dress-up. She didn't want to go on this date, she didn't want the victor to enjoy her spoils, she didn't want to give herself the opportunity to enjoy it, but a single action performed by her arch rival plagued her mind, poisoned it. She would never admit it publicly, she could only imagine the bigger joke she would become because of it. Up until a few days ago, Penelope Lea had never allowed anyone to...or maybe Penelope Lea's personality was never one to attract anyone, but Prysm Ray had created a memory for her. As a young(er) girl, Penelope always marveled about the idea surrounding her first kiss. Where would it take place? Who would it be with? How would it feel? Do they taste like anything in particular? The location would always change, from the balcony of a pearly white castle while at sunset, to the sandy beaches laying comfortably on a beach blanket wearing giant black sunhat, to the creaking bleachers at a high school hockey game, her cheeks a rosey red from the cool atmosphere, but never, never did she imagine it taking place in a wrestling ring, in front of millions of people, with someone she absolutely and utterly despised! The kiss lasted nothing but a second, she could still taste the hint of blueberry muffins, she could still feel the texture of someone else's lips brush up against her own, she could still remember the millisecond she allowed herself to soak in and enjoy the created atmosphere. Grabbing her arm, Penelope began to feel herself blush, but quickly boxed away any feelings, as if someone very judgmental was watching over her. She had to remind herself that she hated Prysm Ray, Prysm Ray ruined a magical memory, and above all else, Prysm Ray took her championship! However, somehow Penelope had allowed her subconscious to dress her. Convinced that she was going to wear nothing but an old pair of jeans and a plain black t-shirt, she somehow found herself in a lavish purple dress with a matching tiara. She couldn't remember the order of events, or even the designer of said dress...Arlene...somethingorrather, but Penelope couldn't go on a date with Prysm Ray dressed in such stunning clothes! Prysm Ray would get the wrong idea, and people would assume that Penelope *wanted* to go on this date, which she didn't! She wanted to stay home, sulk over her new losing streak, and dream of one day holding a championship again, she didn't want to dress up, allow Prysm Ray to gawk over here, and have inappropriate thoughts! NO, THAT COULDN'T HAPPEN. SHE COULDN'T ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN! Grabbing her tiara- KNOCK! KNOCK!
No, no, no! What time was it? Was it seven? Exactly seven. Crap! Prysm Ray must have managed her time to a tee, giving Penelope absolutely no time to re-correct a mistake, a mistake...she...allowed, no, no, Penelope would never allow herself to make a mistake. But then, how would that explain the clothing? She had to make sure, Prysm Ray never seemed like someone who would be on time, just looked all the miscued Shooting Stars she performed! Rushing up to peep hole, Penelope peeked, and absolute dread overcame her once again as a vibrant rainbow practically blinded her left eye. Pressing her back to the door, a passed out Sasha Lea lazily on their couch, Penelope was stuck. Sasha, overdosed on vegetarian food, meant no one could say Penelope wasn't home. Penelope Lea dressed in beautiful clothing and her hair done in an equally beautiful fashion meant she was going to give Prysm Ray the wrong impression. Jamming the back of her head lightly against the door, Penelope whined to herself. "God dang it, Penny." Covering her mouth, she couldn't believe what she just said. She hated nicknames, she loved "Penelope!" Stomping in place, she screamed her name out three times, as if she was re-hammering that mindset into her head. "Penelope, Penelope, Penelope!" Then it hit her, Prysm could have heard that, she had absolutely no choice in the matter of opening that door. Enveloping the door knob, Penelope took a deep breath, holding the air in her cheeks, making them "puff" as she opened the door, twirling herself around. "H-h-hi." Penelope could feel herself blushing, she had to stop that! Downing her eyebrows, making herself look angry, Penelope tried to regain control of her dumb habits.

Prysm had heard a slight hint of Penelope saying her name loudly a few times. So she knew that she was there, but the nerves kicked in slightly as it took a few seconds for her to open the door. She started to doubt if she would come out, or if she would just be dressed in some sort of t-shirt and jeans. As she heard the door unlock she took a deep breath...
Seeing Penelope all dolled up and the stunning dress, Prysm exhaled and a wide smiled crossed her face. She couldn't have even imagined that Penelope would actually get dressed up, for some reason the only outcome that played in her mind was Penelope dressing casual, so this was absolutely perfect.
She could see the blush that touched Penelope's cheeks. Like she was... almost bashful? No way... that's nothing like how Penelope has ever paraded herself around as. That just made the smile on Prysm's face become reinforced as she said softly.
Hey, Penelope.
No nicknames for now, she didn't want her to become angry, like how she was trying to play it off. So full name only for now. Penelope was a beautiful name... absolutely perfect for her. Her thoughts were trailing off as she just stared at Penelope. The bare shoulders... the way the dress ruffled out...
You look, absolutely stunning...
She said with a very lust filled voice. Snapping out of it, she looked up at Penelope and tried to make eye contact. She hoped that Penelope somehow didn't take offense to that, or that it didn't creep her out at all. She usually didn't act like this, she had no clue what it was about Penelope, but she just couldn't stop thinking about her. She definitely hoped that Penelope was the same way about her, and she might be. Just possibly not in the way that Prysm hoped, which was always a thought in Prysm's mind.
Well, we don't have an awful lot of time before the reservation... are you ready?

"N-No!" Penelope, voice cracking, panicked over the sight of Prysm Ray. Literally glowing in the hallway, her rainbow-themed dress declaring its attention, Penelope began to feel like they were going to their prom she never had. It was just a date, their first and hopefully only one at that! Just the mental image of them walking together would garner unwanted attention from her audience, and the Prysm's dress would totally give them the absolutely wrong idea! Penelope needed to dash into her bedroom and jump into something far more casual if she was going to survive tonight, otherwise the rumor mill will run rapid, and Penelope would never escape the embarrassment. The problem was, how? With an aforementioned time limit, would Penelope even have the time to get out her equally rumor-inducing dress? God, why did it have to purple? Why did Prysm have to embrace the colors of the rainbow? Why did Penelope have to lose that stupid, stupid, stupid match! This was all her fau.. no, she couldn't blame herself. Penelope couldn't blame herself for losing. It was the combination of Rolf McCounterson Jr's dumb refereeing and his subconscious wanting to imagine Prysm and Penelope in bed together, EWW! Like Penelope would allow things to get any further! But still, here she was, standing beneath her doorway, an eager Prysm Ray urging them to go forward, without a plan to get back into her bedroom. Then it hit her.
"I need to save my game!" Penelope, although having not touched anything video game related in recent memory, often used this excuse years ago when her mother would ever want her to do anything, such as handing over the television remote control. Penelope had a Nintendo Gameboy phase, and would spend countless hours on their living room couch playing Golden Sun, over and over. Unfortunately Sasha Lea "accidentally" stepping on it prevented Penelope from completing her 42nd journey through Weyard, a sin she had yet to forgive her for. "See, I just got to Saturos and Menardi when you got here, and I desperately need to save before we go, and--" Prysm Ray had none of it. Finding the opening she needed, Prysm hooked her arm between Penelope's as she began to drag her away from her safe haven. Stuck, Penelope's mental self-praising for remembering the names of Golden Sun characters in a dire situation was cut short as her mind turned to closing the apartment door. "LET ME AT LEAST CLOSE THE DOOR!"

The reason why Prysm had dragged Penelope out of her room like that was rather simple. She didn't want the possibility of Penelope to leave. Prysm was riding such a happy-high right now that she didn't want it to be ruined. So thinking on her toes, she grabbed Penelope and pulled her out. She had spent quite a bit both monetarily and emotionally. She wanted this night to go out without a hitch. So the next part wasn't really what she had in mind.
Hearing her almost yell that bit about the door, she sighed ever so slightly. Now she had a choice. She could let Penelope go shut the door, and possibly have her run back into her apartment or she could leave the door open, and god knows what would happen. Plan A or Plan B? Tough choice, but Prysm always went with Plan C, even if there wasn't one. Letting go of Penelope for a split second as Prysm herself rushed over to the apartment door. Gripping the handle, she slammed the door shut. Turning back towards Penelope with a smile on her face she said.
There we go, problem solved. Now, where were we?
As she finished that, she stared at Penelope. She had thought when she came to the door as she did that she maybe actually wanted to go onto this date, but after that little show Prysm wasn't so sure. Did she want to go on this date as much as Prysm did? Probably not, but Prysm hoped that at least maybe a part of Penelope wanted this. Remembering finally what they were doing a second ago she chimed happily.
Oh, Right! How could I possibly forget?
Almost bouncing with joy, she moved quickly back over to Penelope. Cocking her elbow out to the side, as if Penelope were to wrap her arm around Prysm's. Like how men usually escorted women around. Except in the role of the man trying to court the beautiful damsel, was Prysm, who still had quite the smile on her face. Did she expect Penelope to take her arm? Not really, but the offer was put out there just in case. Shall we, Penelope?

Hopeless, it was utterly hopeless. The planets were definitely not aligned in a favorable position for Penelope Lea as she continued to descend into a pool of rainbow flavored Hubba Bubba. Ironically, the people at Wrigley got the flavor wrong, but who would have thunk that a rainbow would taste like a blueberry muffin? And god, did that bug Penelope as she watched Prysm Ray practically prance around her, obviously Prysm Ray was on cloud nine, but did she really, really need to rub it in? From her choice of dress, which Penelope imagined she saved a few paychecks for, from just her general attitude, Penelope wasn't feeling necessarily comfortable. In a hallway where she had cemented herself as a luxurious demander, often belittling the nameless faces which tried to befriend her, Penelope Lea wasn't masking her self with an aura of confidence. That award seemingly belonged to Prysm Ray. Then, wait, she stopped? What? Prysm Ray, a hopeful smile gleaming on her face, extended her arm, offering an elbow for Penelope to cling on to. Her face felt a hot intensity as she blushed instantaneously. Although they were just a similar position merely seconds ago, Penelope wasn't offered the opportunity to choose whether or not to walk down a hallway with linked arms, it was merely used a tool to forcibly lure her away from her apartment. What would happen if she just left Prysm hanging? It was a date after all, would it be considered normal to just walk with another a considerable distance away from each other? Would it be like the spelling of the word and be awkward? Despite having a deep rooted hatred for the woman offering herself to her, Penelope somehow began to feel the obligation to sacrifice her own feelings for her. Prysm Ray was her first kiss, Prysm Ray was a memory forever stitched into her brain! Would throwing Prysm Ray a metaphorical bone satisfy an otherwise tarnished cherished memory? "No, stop thinking like that Penelope!"
Mentally yelling at herself, Penelope tried to regain her composure, but the thoughts kept coming. Penelope's apartment was a good elevator's ride to the floor, would embracing Prysm's arm ease an assumed silent elevator ride? The elevator was completely lined with reflective material, no matter what they would see their reflection from all angles, meaning they would witness how they would look like to their watching public. Just the thought of they they looked liked together sparked Penelope's interest. She would be lying to herself if she denied any claims of entertaining the thought of Prysm and herself being together, her shared first kiss opened doors to a imagination Penelope wished she didn't have. For instance, she forced herself to imagine Prysm as a man, and she couldn't understand why that made it seem worse. Beginning to feel the emerging of suppressed emotions, Penelope half-reluctantly accepted Prysm's request. "If I don't like it, I'll simply break it." She hoped that linking arms would have suppressed her emotions further, but it did the opposite. Her mental reassuring wasn't helping her face from turning a brighter shade of red either. Penelope Lea couldn't believe she was allowing herself to accept her forbidden emotions. IT WAS PRYSM RAY! She took her championship, she ruined two in-ring concert performances, she snatched a perfect record, and she stole a memory! "I'll break it, I'll break it, I'll break it, I'll break it."
She couldn't do it.
"...I'll break it once we get inside the elevator, I'll break it once we get inside the elevator, I'll break it once we get inside the elevator..."

After extended her arm like she had, Prysm was entirely scared that Penelope wouldn't take it. That she would just be left there hanging, so to speak. But she didn't let that nervousness show at all, as she saw Penelope hesitate. Prysm assumed it was hard for her to decide on what to do.She took it. She took her arm. Prysm sort of stared down momentarily upon seeing Penelope take her arm. The only thought going through her head...
OhMyGoshOhMyGoshOhMyGoshOhMyGosh!
The smile only got wider on her face when she saw how deep the hue of red on Penelope's cheeks was. Was she embarrassed by this? She didn't really know, but she hoped that it was a good thing. It had to be a good thing. Right? It had to! Gulping, Prysm said softly.
Alright, lets go.
The two then made their way to the elevator at the very end of the hallway. It wasn't a very short walk. The entire way, Prysm just felt ecstatic, that she actually had the woman whom she had fought for and against on her arm. It was almost like a dream come true.
Upon finally reaching the elevator, Prysm reached forward and pressed the down arrow. As if nobody else had used the elevator since Prysm had gotten off, the doors immediately slid open, revealing the mirror filled elevator. Turning her head and smiling at Penelope she said.
After you.
Chivalrous, even though she too was a lady. She wanted Penelope to enjoy herself, and this was the best possible way Prysm thought to do so. At least for now.

The elevator was extremely roomy, enough to fit at least a half dozen normal sized people, and perhaps a baker's dozen of children. It was empty. Extremely empty. The kind of empty that grants you the privacy of looking into your own bathroom mirror, criticizing every blemish across your face, planning out your day as you did so. Unfortunately, at least for Penelope, the mirror reflected two people, and with Prysm Ray a good few inches taller than Penelope, they almost, almost, almost looked like a decent couple. That bugged her. Penelope wasn't sure if it was because Prysm Ray was a woman, or if it was because they seemed to compliment one another well, maybe a combination of both, but it bugged her. Her face still red, Penelope brought her head down, hoping that her hair would disguise her face, and that Prysm Ray wouldn't notice. She simply couldn't control her emotions, and that also bugged her. Taking a step forward, Penelope forgot to un-link their arms as she headed into the elevator. She felt stupid. A complete idiot. How could she forget?! How she allowed their reflection to stray away from her goal, Penelope Lea didn't quite know how respond, her one step simply throwing them off balance for a second. Honestly, she couldn't remember if one should unhook their arms when entering an elevator, maybe Prysm was supposed to take a step along side her, she couldn't remember! She blamed herself, something she absolutely hated to do. "Sorry." Her voice was nothing but a whisper, the complete opposite of her usually charismatic personality. She could feel her face grow warmer as she began free her arm from Prysm's. Penelope didn't quite understand why it felt like a bigger deal than it really should. It was just a simple, simple action, but it felt like the entire world depended on it.

Earlier Prysm had mentioned that she found it to be quite attractive when Penelope was over confident. Which was the truth, but now seeing Penelope like this... Prysm was starting to also like the shyness. She wasn't sure what it was, but this almost seemed like the real Penelope.
Smiling, letting go of Penelope's arm as she entered the elevator to make it easier for both to enter. She wasn't sure if the interlocking arms made Penelope uncomfortable at all, so she was going to lay off on it. Once both of them were in the elevator, Prysm reached down and hit one of the basement buttons, where the parking garage was for the building staff and wrestlers.
Standing there, she looked one of the many mirrored walls, staring at herself and Penelope... they did look well together. That fact brought the smile back to Prysm's face, which had went away upon letting go of Penelope. Her eyes stayed on Penelope's reflection. She had said sorry so politely, this didn't seem like the same Penelope that she had seen in the ring and at All-Of-Garden.
Should Prysm leave Penelope to her own thoughts? Should she let Penelope think the situation over and sort through her emotions? Or should Prysm try to make idle small talk, as to not avoid awkward silences? Such tough choices, she knew either one had it's pros and cons, but she simply wasn't sure exactly which one she should go with.
Finally settling on one of the options, she gulps. A small hint of nervousness in her voice as she said to Penelope.
You look absolutely beautiful tonight, Penelope.
This time that she said it, she meant it. There was no lust filled tone unlike last time. After she said that though, she hoped that it wouldn't make Penny even more uncomfortable.

A case of the shifty eyes, Penelope leered in Prysm's direction. Throughout their entire rivalry, Prysm had used such comments, even just minutes ago, as ways to get influence Penelope's negative emotions. Prysm understood that saying such sentences in lustful tones irritated Penelope, but this was different. Her tone of voice felt genuine, as if she really meant it. For once, Prysm seemed to have put down her facade, which Penelope assumed, of jealousy. It's not like Prysm Ray had any reason to feel jealous of Penelope anymore, considering she now held a championship Penelope once cherished, considering Prysm Ray had finally proved herself to better than she was, and considering how Prysm Ray, despite her hint of nervousness, now held the most confidence between the two of them. Penelope didn't know how to react, usually she was quick, witty with something to say back, but she didn't know, didn't know how to handle a real, genuine compliment. Penelope began to wonder if she was ever complimented outside of her immediate family, she couldn't precisely remember the last time someone actually claimed she was beautiful. Focusing her attention in the elevator floor dial, watching it lean closer and closer to it's left, Penelope left Prysm was absolute silence. She didn't want to call Prysm "beautiful," because it would just seem like she was merely returning the favor, replicating the exact same compliment. Plus, Penelope wasn't one to throw around endearing comments, she was used to the latter, calling anyone and everyone "idiots" who dared cross her path. Any synonym of "beautiful" was off limits as well, Penelope couldn't open her mental thesaurus. So, what was left? Did Penelope actually believe Prysm was beautiful? Focusing her attention on Prysm's reflection, allowing herself for the first time to actually notice the intricate details of her dress, Penelope began to admire the quality of it. It wasn't something that was just quickly thrown together with absolutely no direction, the dress was an actual tool to enhance the features of Prysm's body. Her slender shoulders, the fact that, even without the aid of heels, her choice of footwear complimented her posture, giving her the feminine quality she sometimes wished she herself, possessed. Penelope always felt she looked too young, her essence of adolescence outweighing anything else she wanted to be perceived as. But...was Prysm beautiful? Could Penelope give Prysm Ray the same, heartfelt comment? "T-thanks, your dress is--" The elevator rang as the door opened, the echoing sounds of a parking garage enveloping their ears as screeching tires made themselves present.

Hearing her finally speak up, Prysm's heart jumped a beat. Turning her head slightly, to look at Penelope. It started to sound like Penelope was going to compliment Prysm's dress. Even though it wasn't actually Prysm she was going to compliment, it was going to be a step in the right direction. Prysm held her breath slightly as she waited for Penelope to finish what she was going to say, but then. *DING* SKRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...... Hearing that, Prysm cringed. Her gaze shooting towards the parking garage. Almost furious at whoever decided to peel out at that exact moment. If she knew who that person one... god help them. She would bring a wrath unfathomable by most. The seething rage that boiled inside Prysm right now... it was dangerous. Not often did she get mad, but when she did... it wasn't a good idea to be on the receiving end.
But sadly for her and luckily for the driver, she didn't know who did it. So she let the anger slide slowly away, as she let out a sigh. Looking back at Penelope, it was evident that she wasn't going to continue her compliment. Which, was a little disheartening. But Prysm remained confident that Penelope would have complimented her, somewhat if they hadn't reached their destination so quickly.
Confound this Elevator, if only it had been just a few seconds slower.
Stepping out the elevator into the echoing Parking Garage, Prysm looked back at Penelope who was still standing in the elevator. The rage from the driver was now fully gone as she extended a hand towards Penelope and said.
Come on, I'm parked pretty close to here.
She knew that this was going to happen, so she had parked as close to the elevator as she possibly could have.

Penelope froze. Screeching cars weren't anything frightening, nor the echos of a constantly moving parking garage. What was frightening was Prysm's hand! Penelope may feel, and look excessively young, but she didn't look like she was five or six, she didn't need to hold someone's hand! While it was a date, Penelope didn't feel Prysm and herself had reached the level hand-holding, she didn't even consider Prysm to be her friend. Thinking of it, did Penelope fully trust sitting in a car with Prysm Ray? She barely trusted Sasha's reckless driving, if had a choice between her sister and a calm, confident driver, she would choose the calm and confident driver! What if Prysm was ten times worse than Sasha? However, Prysm's hand was still extended, Penelope could only assume that Prysm felt their relationship had gone from punishing roundhouse kicks to friendly and warm hand-holding. What kind of person was she? Penelope knew it was rude, but she just didn't feel comfortable accepting her hand. The elevator was her last chance to escape. The elevator didn't just go one way, it went two, and all Penelope had to do was press the "Up" icon and she would have hopefully rid herself of an evening she knew was going to filled with uncomfortable situations. But she could feel that Prysm Ray was looking forward too this, and she could now sincerely see that Prysm Ray put effort into this. Despite being alone in the elevator, and against her better judgment, Penelope stepped out of the elevator under her own will, already feeling the evil glares of the imaginary people possibly surrounding them. Hearing the elevator door close behind her, Penelope no longer had a choice to ditch her evening with Prysm Ray. She was now in this as she quietly followed her date...yes, her date, to their four-wheeled, self-sustaining, motorized chariot. "...your dress is absolutely magnificent."
She whispered under her breath as the loud environment of a parking garage made anything lower than a yell impossible to hear.

Seeing her hand left hanging as Penelope didn't take it, Prysm gulped. Rejected, something she was pretty used to by now. But, just like that. It was a little rude, but also stupid on Prysm's side.
Why would you offer your hand? You SAW how uncomfortable she was going arm in arm. You really are dumb.
God, that voice was back. The voice that had insulted her when she was tripping a few nights before Fight Night. But she wasn't high at all right now. Prysm's own thoughts were now beating down on her. She knew she messed up and beat herself up over her mistakes constantly. Walking next to Penelope, a slight step ahead of her, she hoped that she didn't completely mess up.
She's still here, so you know you didn't botch it too bad Casanova.
Walking towards a group of cars she smiled. She was parked right over there, not far now. She didn't hear what Penelope had said. It was just too damn loud in the Parking Garage. If she had heard it, it would have made her night... no, her week.
I'm parked right up there.
She said rather loudly, just loud enough so that Penelope could hear. She practically had to yell to be audible over the roaring echos all around the area. Where she motioned too though, the only visible vehicle was a massive, Mystery Van esque vehicle. That was bright blue with flowers painted all over the sides of it. Glancing at Penelope, she could see a look of horror on her face upon seeing the van. Which was understandable, since most people who even knew a bit of Prysm's past or knew her for that matter assumed she either drove a flower-child van or a rainbow-ized Volkswagen Beetle. Gulping, Prysm kept walking, and she then walked right past the van.
Her car, was a typical silver Honda four door. Nothing super expensive but definitely not as bad as the van that she was parked next to. It was a 2005 model, so it wasn't a junker yet. Reaching into the pocketbook, that she had to use due to her chosen dress for the night, she pulled out the car keys and unlocked the car. Walking over to the passenger side door, she opened it for Penelope. Trying to make-up for offering her hand.

With the Mystery Machine just a couple cars away from Prysm's surprisingly normal four-dour Honda, Penelope was still wrapping her mind around the idea of actually of solving mysteries within it. Not that the van screamed anything involving possible drug affiliation to Penelope, but as her elementary school self, she had somehow plunged herself into the fandom, with backpacks and school portfolios with the Scooby-Do brand stickered all over them. With Prysm Ray holding open the passenger side's door, treating Penelope like the princess she always loved to be treated as, Penelope's thoughts of the Mystery Machine quickly turned into the belongings of Prysm's car. Rainbow-colored dice hanging from the rear-view mirror, and other assorted rainbow-themed items littered an otherwise normal car. It was even clean! Almost like Prysm Ray actually made sure Penelope Lea would be comfortable to sit within it. Cracking a smile, she took the invitation and took her throne as she began to play with the dice as a cat would a ball of yarn. "I love these things."

Giggling slightly, Prysm shut the passenger car door. Thinking just how amazing it was to see Penelope's range of emotions. Before tonight, she had only seen the one cocky arrogant side to her. But now, Prysm had seen a shy Penelope, and now an almost child-like joy Penelope as she jokingly played with the rainbow hued fuzzy dice, that hung on Prysm's mirror. Plus the night was only just starting, so there was no telling what the rest of the night may bring.
Quickly moving around the car towards the driver's side, she opened the door and got in. Being the safe driver that she was, Prysm put her seatbelt on first. Glancing and checking all of the mirrors to see they were in the right place, she then started the car. Unlike more powerful cars, it didn't roar to life. It simply started like the generic car.
Glancing at Penelope, she could see that she was still enjoying the fuzzy dice, which made Prysm smile slightly. Putting the car into reverse, she backed out of her parking spot and then started to drive out of the parking garage. As she drove through the parking garage, it was evident that she was a safe driver. However, it wasn't always that way.
When she was younger, she had driven all the time before she was legal to. She was always a thrill seeker, so the possibility of getting caught driving at a young age was what made her do it. By the time that she was sixteen and able to get her driver's permit, she was an experienced driver. However, during her Driver's Education course that they were require to take... she had sort of took a corner about, 30 mph faster than she should have, and managed to total the car and even injuring the instructor's leg.
That was why her hometown friends called her Rainbow Crash.
Sighing as she remembered that, she kept driving. Not entirely sure if she had anything to say to Penelope right now. She was absolutely terrible at starting small talk. Gulping, trying to think of something to say she hesitates and says.
Y...you can listen to the radio if you want.
Are you STUPID? You're supposed to TALK to her. You know, converse? The music isn't helping you... at all.
