Divide by Disturbed plays over the speakers as Manor makes his way out onto stage. Getting an average reaction as he makes his way down the ramp. Dressed in jeans and sleeveless red shirt he jumps onto the steps and then to the apron doing a little pose. Once in the ring he grabs a mic.
I could come out here and do some boring introduction for those that don't know me. Tell ya how I'm gonna kick whoever comes through that curtain's ass only to get my ass kicked during the match. You know, typical... Manor does some air quotes. ...wrestler stuff.
But I'm not a wrestler. I'm a sports entertainer. I'm not a man of a gazillion holds. I don't have a true passion for this business. Probably have no business here. But I am here and I'm issuing an open challenge to anyone who wants to try and knock me off my high horse. Anyone and everyone in the back. Bring friends if you want to, it makes no difference, I'm just looking for the amusement of a fight. Manor lowers the mic waiting to see if anyone responds to his open challenge.

..::.. Machinehead's "Crashing Around You" plays as the man who hadn't fought an actual match in 3 years steps through the curtain, absorbing the welcoming cheers before taking his time to get to the ring, joining Manor in the ring, but not before retrieving a microphone for himself. ..::.. Your right, your not a wrestler, your just an entertainer. One that has no place in the wrestling world. If all your around for is providing "entertainment", then leave. I won't let some mockjob who's referred to as "Maniac" make a mockery of this competitive sport. Especially one who should have gotten more hugs from his dad, instead of a trustfund. All the money you come from can't buy you talent when it comes to actually wrestling. Which is why your known to rely on weapons, and cheap tactics to get the job done. That is, when you do get the job done, which only seems to be once in a blue moon, or when lady luck smiles on you.
Lady luck is smiling now though, isn't she. An open challenge, and empty dance card. Here I was thinking this company was going to offer a challenge, and instead, it's filled with gangsters from the streets who fight with fists instead of guns. Band members who annoy eachother. A bunch of whack jobs who think they mean something, and here, in front of me, a man whose opinion stretches far and wide where it don't belong. Oh I'll accept the open challenge alright, and I'll give you a fight. Because that's the only thing we have in common, isn't it. We both love to fight, and don't care about the outcome, so long as the other guy is hurt more. So I'll give you the hurt you long for, and if we're all lucky, the closure on your storied career...::.. It's obvious he had been watching the sport while he was away from it. Wasn't hard to keep track of the people who repeatedly tried to hammer their relevance into everyones heads. Instead of letting the wrestling do the talking for them, it was all over the internet instead. ..::..

Manor smirks having been mocked for his "ability" before as he raises the mic. You're right. I'm a loser. I've lost at least three times as much as I've won. When compared to other so called greats, I've very little my name in a list of accomplishments. But I've also been through this song and dance before. Manor shakes his head. A disgrace. A jobber. No talent. A freak. I've been called every name in the book. But what bothers people like you isn't these things. It's that I'll admit it and I'll do it with a smile on my face.
Manor points to Darkman as he continues. It bugs people like you, that you can win as many titles as you want. You can have as many five star matches. And yet no matter what you do, all I have to do is throw a slushie in someone's face to get just as much attention. It bugs people like you when a disgrace like myself can score an upset over some super hyper ultra name and get more cheers than when a real wrestler beats me.
Manor looks Darkman in the eyes as his smile turns serious. For all your anger towards my kind. For as much as you may have accomplished, you'll always have to put forth your best to be more talked about than me.
Manor raises a hand with a finger pointing into the air. However, we're not here to talk about what a disgrace I am to this place. We're here to have a match and despite not being a wrestler, a normal one-on-one match can be enough. Contrary to popular opinion, I'm not a hardcore wrestler. I'm just someone who comes out here, gets the crowd pumps and makes the company money which makes me money. Manor lowers the mic having talked more trash about himself than his opponent.

..::.. He shook his head after listening to mindless drivel that came from the man he was about to destroy on his first night back ..::.. I couldn't care less about titles. I've won enough to cover my career, and overshadow any other companies blow hard braggers. Calling themselves the Standards, or Franchise, or Legends, or Xtraordinaire. Good for them, they did it fighting against limited competition. Same goes for you, your mild success came against a bunch of "who gives a shit" guys. I don't care if I win, I don't care if you walk away bragging you got the best of me. What I care about is sending a message to this company, that I won't be taken lightly, and that I'm one of, if not THE best thing they got going for them so far.
As for me being bothered about you? The only thing that bothers me, is that you keep coming back. I don't know if that's a pro, or a con to your career. You don't know when to be gone, and stay gone. That, and you call yourself a freak. Your not, your a charity case, if anything. Just because you got yourself some facepaint, doesn't make you a freak. Just because you feel sorry for yourself, doesn't make you a freak. If you had 5 arms, you'd be a freak. You, you are no freak. Your a run of the mill, everyday guy, who puts on his horse and pony show, and thinks he's worth more then he actually is...::.. He crosses his arms, slightly, and raises the arm holding the mic back to his mouth. ..::.. The cheers you seem to feel you get, aren't as loud as you imagine them to be. They're not cheers in support, they are cheers in shock that someone got beat, by someone as low on lifes ladder, as you. Your about as low as it can get. Self pity, self doubt, and to top it all off, you oversell yourself as some commodity that has value to a company. Ya, every company needs their random no name, who can get the upset win from time to time. So congrats, you filled the role for SCW perfectly.
Tonight, I expose your weaknesses, all of them, and maybe you'll take something from it, other then another loss. Maybe you'll learn some actual moves that can get you a win, or somewhere in this business other then the obituaries when you finally off yourself...::.. It was a low, final, cheap shot that he left Manor with before leaving the ring, and heading to the back. Not caring what was said in retort, or the consequences of his actions. All he cared about was getting into the ring with the man later, and leaving him in the same position he always seemed to be in. On his back, taking a loss, and sliding into a corner to rethink his life. He just hoped that when he got to the back, he didn't have some random office stooge telling him he had to drop it, or lose his contract. ..::..

Manor shakes his head raising the mic. And this is why I'm still here in this business. Manor points to the stage where Darkman walked up to and through the curtain. I tried to keep things a bit lighthearted. Don't care either if you want to say I'm childish for needing to get the last word in.
Manor lowers his arm as he continues. You wanna talk run of the mill. How about you go look in a mirror? You think you're the first or the last to try the intimidation and the whole I'm a better wrestler than you bit? I'm the best thing this company has going for them bit? You really don't get more run of the mill than that. Though you are one of the few people I've met who are so quick to head to back.
I mean seriously, what you came out here and did was wrestler one oh one. Step one, come out and talk trash about opponent. Step two, hype yourself up as one of if not the greatest wrestler ever. Step 3, say something that leaves your opponent scratching his head. Step 4, head to the back fast so you can avoid looking like an idiot when your points get turned on you.
Another head shake from Manor. I mean the more I hear from you about me, the more I think you're actually talking about yourself. I do not believe I called myself a freak. I believe I said other people did, but surely you know me better than I know myself. I mean that's where all the comments about me feeling sorry for myself came from right? Do I really look like I pity myself? I love myself. I'm not admiring myself in the mirror, but I think it's safe to say I love myself and the sound of my own voice. Manor shakes his head. I'm not ashamed of the things I said. I'm actually quite proud of them. It's rather amusing.
Manor scratches his head thinking before he continues. What else did you say? There was something else, but what was it? Oh yeah, something about shock cheers, whatever those are. I mean it's clearly more cheers than you'll get if this is any indication of how much people will pay to see you. All your talk like you understand this business, yet come out completely ignorant.
See, people like Zhafaria give us the time they do to talk, because that's what we're suppose to do. We do this talking to do a little something called building excitement for a match. We make people want to pay or tune in to see us by using this time to talk, insult, the whole deal. Those who can do it well, typically make more money than those like yourself who stupidly think what happens in the ring matters. Money speaks louder than wins in this business. Those who say otherwise are only kidding themselves with their denial. Manor drops the mic as his theme plays and he does some poses on the various turnbuckles as SCW cuts to a commercial.
