Some would call it over dramatic, stewing away. Bitterness, hatred, loneliness, fear, anxiety. But these things that she almost never felt, or was the cause of in OTHER people;
Right now, Lilith was being buried by them.
The 'Visits' she'd been on the ass-end of, were just... grinding on her. Lilith sat, perched on a stool in front of a blackjack table. Depression. A near lethal mixture of Spirytus and Whiskey sitting in a glass next to her right hand. She may be depressed, but she was still plague by the 'Perpetually Pretty People' Syndrome she'd been snagged within for the last decade. Snow White Lace blouse, accented by leather ridges. A Porcelain White Frilled skirt, layered with Blackened polyester. Thigh-high Black leather heeled boots. A Blood red Ruby shade of crimson across her lips. Deep Sea Blue rosary beads tied up around her left wrist. Soft Beige nail polish across her sharpened fingernails. Lilith may be in a bad mood, but she was still a Penthouse Model. She had to look good, it was her job.
And alas, that was one of the stinging problems left in her mind from her oh so fun 'visits'. Why is it she was in this state? Why was she struck in this City with this pathetic excuse for a company? Why did she even CARE about the rules and regulations around her and more importantly;
Her -Words-.
Those, those were deadly weapons for Lilith. In her mind, she'd always had -Four- Finishing Moves in her wrestling career;
The Kiss of Death Neckbreaker - The End of Days Punt - The S&M Lock - And her -Words-
Oh yes. Many many victims for those. Demoralizing, defeating enemies, long before the ever made it into the ring. Yet now? Now she was all concerned about 'Political Correctness' and 'Rules And Regulations'. Her slender fingertips run themselves around the sides of her temples as the cards are dealt. Lilith tilts her head back, shaking it slightly from side to side. She refused to believe she'd become 'soft', but at this point... there was little she could do to rebuke that with some legitimate fervor. She slowly plucks her glass from the table, taking a sip of it. The concoction hitting the back of her throat, and almost burning the entire way down it. She found it fitting, as it was a supremely good analogy of how she was feeling. More cards are dealt. More hands are held, more fold. Bets are made. It all seems to be in slow-motion for Lilith. The drug she'd been forced to take was wavering back and forth. She knew it wouldn't stabilize on it's own. But she would be GOD-DAMNED if she went back to Cammy for more.
She cracks her fingers, squinting her eyes as the sound of the dealers voice attempts, to make it past her ears.
No go.
Lilith wasn't focused on the game before her. She was too... out of it. Her fingernails tap the side of her glass, another sip. Another burn, another moment. How many times had she 'burned' opposition over the years? How many times had she sent grown people crying? How much nerd rage had she inflicted? Lilith has a God-Complex. A severe one. Admitting anything less than imperfection is nigh on heresy. But she was waning. It was becoming more and more difficult, reality was staring at her very plainly. She did have a weakness. It was compassion. It was empathy. It was mercy...
It was -relationships-.
Every time she was in one, she had become weaker. Thoughts of love, emotions of caring. It all weighed her down...
But despite her attitude toward utter destruction; Lilith's a Woman. She falls in love. She feels pain. She's -Human-. ......The thought alone of ADMITTING THAT, begins to stir the almost slumbering state of Lilith. She squints her eyes shut, grinding her teeth together sharply. Her fingertips coil around her glass. Her nails scraping at the sides of it. She almost begins hissing out under her breath. But no words escape, they couldn't. She just...
She just couldn't.

~Money can do amazing things. It can cure disease. It can put people into space. It can but the newest video game before its actual release. But endless money? Truly ridiculous wealth can do anything. One by one people left the casino as their luck ran its particular course.~
"Luck? I despise it."
~Betty corrected some unseen shadow holding court with the form of Lessien. Out of sight and out of mind, where Lessien operated best. One by one the small casino section emptied, and no one took their place. Quietly re-routed into the sprawling, gambling complex until only a handul remained in the immediate vicinity of Lilith. It was just enough to maintain the illusion of reality. One by one the drinks went down, noise slowly faded. The handful became just a dealer and a waitress. Another drink delivered and the waitress passed silently through thick padded doors. The shadow turned from Lessien as the dealer turned the cards~
"Blackjack for the lucky lady!"
Crack!!!!!
~The power to the section was killed via the breaker, plunging the room into pure blackness. The alcohol slowing the eyes adjustment time just enough for the dealer to slide away between the final closing door. The final lock bolted. They were officially nowhere, in the middle of one of Sin City's most popular casinos. That was what real money could do. The hands of Lessien slowly folded her sunglasses, and placed them next to her earth worn coat. Her sensitive eyes instantly swimming with ease in the blackness. They traced the silhouette they knew all too well, the swell of breasts and curve of hips and for all too many years.~
"Little girl, little girl show me your strings."
~Alice whispered into the quiet room as Betty flicked her Zippo. In that instant she was the fun until the tobacco glowed orange. The Cheshire grin and the naked eyes rarely ever truly seen. Betty snapped the source of light closed.~
"Oh, sweet Alice she traded them all for a human soul."
~She tossed her lighter down and slowly began to move around. When her hip brushed a table, she gripped it and threw it to the side.~
"Isn't that what you call it when you carve it all away to nothing for a vacuous, empty whore?"
~A long escape of smoke between the sneering teeth. She hated everything Lilith waxed poetically for. She despised everything Lilith herself had become.~
"Say their names."
~Alice begged with longing.~
"Oh, yes Lover. Say them all publicly then wash them away and cry. Sylas, Anjyl, sacred fucking Ohio?"
~Betty laughed out loud, and there was nothing pleasant or sacred about it. Afterall, she had outlived them all.~
"Dear, dear Jonny and your latest little toy."
"One, two, three, four"
~Betty kicked a chair, it clattered and rolled in dark space. She circled slowly, her words like a snake on the hunt.~
"Don't make her count to Seven, Lilith. I'm sure if I erased each one of them you could find seven more in the dregs of that glass. Why, you're the Norma Rockwell of precious memorie."
"Times gone by like dreams."
~Betty stopped, somewhere in thought while Alice studied the lines around them for near future reference.~
"I could have almost let all of that pass, let you sink away with your precious little humanity intact. Even though the old you would have begged me to put a bullet in the back of your head. But really that's your affair not mine."
~There was no doubt that no matter which Lessien you found: past, present of future? Any three of those Lessiens would have happily obliged.~
"Affairs are never in order."
"Oh yes, Lilith we couldn't have that from you. You have to open your pretty
little
mouth and say the magic fucking words."
"Lessien"
~Alice hissed.~
"That's all it takes to make me look at you and see what you've become. Humanity and heart, I can almost hear the lies inside you."
"Lies"
~The accusations.~
"You're a black hole, Lover. Insatiable, all you do is need, and that makes you useless.
Common
and cheap."
~Lessien's tour of space came to a stop in front of Lilith with only the dealer's table between them.~
"Imagine my absolute delight when someone called me to do what you should have begged for years ago."
"All the stars align above her."
~Smoke escaped her lips as she ground the cigarette out against the
virgin,
green felt.~
"Make a wish, Lover. It's all for you. Beg."

.......
Ohhhhhh yeah. God doth hateth Lilith Creighton. Was she happy to see good ole Lover-Girl? Sure. Was she happy Lover-Girl was pointing out all of the current flaws Lilith was aware she herself had?
Nope.
But this was Lessien. One of the old time fun-pals Lilith had over the years. One of those, 'dance for me and I'll make it a show' kind of 'buddies'. Huh...
Think she was pissed about the whole 'almost slept with Lessien' blog thing?
... Well it's nice to see you again too sweetheart. How I missed that venomous little tongue of yours. Like a pink-slip waiting to happen. You've kept yourself busy from what I've seen so far...
But you're not one for sentimental value...
Lilith lifts her glass, finishing her drink before slamming it down against the blackjack table, the bottom of it begins to crack. The deformities of it's shape begin to flow throughout the entirety of it's being. Lilith grinds her teeth together, breathing in slowly before opening her eyes, staring across the table at Lessien. She taps her fingernails against the table, scraping at it. Lessien was one of the few people who could match, and at times during their 'relationship of friendship involving blood' - could best, Lilith in mind games. That wasn't something Lilith needed right now. But then again...
She could expect nothing less than the best of mind fuckery, from Lover-Girl Lessien.
... You should know me better than that. I don't give into weaknesses Lessien... they just, surround me. And besides, not ALL of us can go the 'Lone Wolf' route you seem to pave so -very well-. Some of us actually have -Souls-.
She tightens her grip around the cracking, weakening glass. Paying no attention to anything but Lover-Girl. She KNEW Lessien was right. You'd have to be BLIND not to see it. Lilith of Old compared to how Lilith was now? Jesus it's like Night & Day. But she couldn't control it anymore, she didn't understand what was keeping her back from snapping on anything with a pulse like the grand old days of yore.
Just because I can flick my wrist and spout my words, doesn't make me a Black-Hole Lover-Girl..
My ability to kill, every single company I've been in.
THAT makes me a Black-Hole.
Oh ho... a tingle runs itself up the back of Lilith's neck, lightning quick. She shivers for a moment.
Where do YOU get off judging ME Lover-Girl? Last time I counted the broken shards of sanity YOU were right up there with me on the frontlines. You danced the same dance, the only difference is you had different partners. And even THAT is something that overlaps. I'm not the only one that was trying to squeeze the air from Clare's annoying fucking windpipe.
NOT TO MENTION your inability to discriminate between those of 'worthwhile means' and those that are little more than fodder. At least MY targets are worth being put down.
Sometimes you just kick strays on the front lawn for fun.
Another shiver. What was going on? The drug wasn't kicking in again, Lilith's mind was probably more muddled and confused than it had been in the last month. Sentences were starting to blur together, and part of her hearing was dampening out between her words. But everything around the visage of Lessien in her eyesight;
It was crystal fuckin' clear.
Ohio... No. You don't get to talk about that. NEVER bring that up again. Sylas... I..
And Alexis. You don't get the honor of spewing that name from your toxic little lips you psycho semantic little bitch. Ohio was MINE. The ONLY thing that stood in my way was Oic...
.. And don't you EVER mention her name in my presence. She tainted Alexis, she STOLE Alexis. She VIOLATED Alexis. She RUINED Alexis. She played the little Piper for Blackthorn and his unruly and fuckin' insane experiments. It wouldn't surprise me if she had been under the thumb of GAIDEN for all I know. And she gets treated like a Icon?
Like a Legend?
LIKE A GOD ?! Lilith squints her eyes shut, tightly, fiercely. Pounding headache. Her lips were trembling under the bite of her teeth. Part of her face was going numb. She rubs her eyes softly with her free hand, scraping at the edges of it with her fingernails, somewhat laughing softly to herself. This is all cause I mentioned you in my little bitty blog isn't it sweetheart?
I thought you liked publicity, controversy. Doesn't that jive with the whole 'dark and mysterious' figure you've become. With your bat-shit insane ramblings and your over the top mind games that usually lead to someone requiring three years worth of therapy?

"Down so many stairs and turns she did not know where she was."
~Alice almost laughed in retort. While Betty carefully studied the face, the glass, the skin and hand.~
"You really do think I care, don't you Lover?"
~Betty was almost seemed shocked by her own words and conclusions.~
"No really, somewhere in that twisted wreckage you're now calling a "soul" you think I care about you."
~Betty started to laugh as the form of Lessien brought her hand down on top of Lilith's with sudden ferocity, exploding the already strained glass beneath it. Ice, alcohol and glass shards bite hard as Lessien grinds the skin. Actions and reactions, she waits the millisecond for Lilith to grab for freedom before she brings her left fist across the wide open and exquisite jaw line. It was beyond a sucker's punch only in it's impact. Blood and saliva pooling, hot like the glass still eating her pale skin.~
"Words, names and memories never fit her quite the same."
~Not after that, Alice did sing.~
"That little, fucking, Japanese newt!? You forget, I was there!!"
~Lessien released, just as her right combat boot met the blackjack table. It splintered and rocked free into Lilith's chest, a typhoon of cheap wood and tumbling motions into stillness. The hands of Lessien reached above her own head and stretched out a single kink that had developed. A deep release of toxic breath, the violence almost appeared to be some form of meditation: out with the bad and in with the
ever
so
good.~
"At least she knew when to disappear, Lover. She didn't make others pay someone to do it for her."
~Released, the looks on Lessien's single face mixed between the voices and the feelings inside. The sadistic glee of Alice always tinted with absolute conceit of Betty. Her knees bent. Her head tilted and eyes danced.~
"My feelings are free to fly."
~Betty agreed completely.~
"Of course, I would have done this for free for old time's sake. But just like when I took Gaiden's money all those
long
hard
wasted
years ago? It looks all the same to me."
~Information overload as Lessien slowly lowered herself on to her haunches, hands hanging off her knees. A flash of white hot anger crossed across Alice's glee.~
"Fight it Lilith. It will be much better that way."

......
Lilith wipes the side of her mouth, slowly. Rage. That was an intense feeling. She'd felt it a lot through her life, usually within this business. Right now? It was a God-Damn Tiger Blood Fueled Ordinance aimed at Lover-Girl. Totally went there.
... Put me.. down?... You?..
.. You?
Lilith slowly rises to her feet. Fight it, huh? The room was in a frenzy, people panicking and freaking out, some actually enjoying the spectacle mind you. She cracks her neck niiiiice and slowly...
Mmkay... let's dance.
Lilith springs forward, shoulder burying itself against Lessien's midsection, rushing the two down against the ground once more with a large impact. She straddles Lessien and smiles down at her, before her smile breaks into a scowl of hatred and contempt.
YOU? YOU don't put people down, YOU don't have that right;
-I- end careers!
YOU don't destroy lives in this rag-tag band of filth we call a 'business';
-I- destroy them!
-I- destroy companies! -I- destroy minds! YOU DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT LOVER-GIRL!
Lilith tangles her fingers in Lessien's hair, lifting her head up, before slamming it down against the ground with a loud thud. The sensation sent a shiver down Lilith's spine, but it also must have sent one down Lover-Girl; Cause she immediately flipped Lilith off of her torso. The two scramble back up to their feet before they rush against the grain once more, like two bulls locking horns.
'Care about me'? Care about me?
YOU'RE GOD DAMN RIGHT YOU CARE ABOUT ME!
Lilith locks her right ankle behind Lessien, sweeping her down, she palms her right hand down over Lover-Girl's shades. Dragging, dragging, her behind before slipping her hand down around Lessien's throat.
YOU NEED ME! You think ANYONE ELSE in this fuckin' business can DEAL WITH YOU?!
You think anyone else can HANDLE YOU? I'm your fuckin' EQUAL LOVER! You NEED ME AROUND to sustain your circular FUCKIN' LOGIC!
If it wasn't for me... IF IT WASN'T FOR ME, YOU'D BE STUCK IN THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS FUCKIN' BOAT, STARING UP AT THE REST OF THE JACKASSES RIDING ON THE BACK OF MY COAT-TAILS!
Lilith was incensed. In case you couldn't tell. But it didn't seem to be doing much for her offense, Lessien once more flips Lilith off of her. The two collide once more, this time Lilith on the losing edge. She catches an elbow to the side of the temple. Now.. being hit in the side of the head, that's something you never forget. ... Unless you get hit REALLY HARD in the side of the head. She stumbles back, clutching her head while shaking it. Panting out and seething.
... You and I, we're on another level, Lover-Girl. Co-existence is not an option, it's the -ONLY- option. The laws of physics, and logic, state that two objects of equal mass..
Equal -Power-;
Cannot occupy the same space. It's theoretically impossible...
Lilith licks her lips slowly, spitting out some blood. She runs her hands down her face. She hadn't had this feeling in a loooong time... she'd missed it;
She missed Lessien~
... So why don't we see who can occupy a -stronger- space... you know, for 'old time sake'...
Come on, Lover-Girl...
...
Dance with me~

~This was their natural element. This was their naked face. No 360 degree, corkscrew, handstand fuckery. No breaking the laws of physics. No crowds. No lights. No shine. It was raw, brute force laced with bones, blood and muscle. Lessien spit out a half-broken tooth. Alice ran her tongue over the jagged, bare nerved edge.~
"From the mouth of God."
"Better yet, from the mouth of you so it all must be true."
~Lessien picked up a splintered chair, and threw it at Lilith. It missed. It was only a silly game. She picked up another and threw it as well. It missed wide, but slightly altered their spacing, now that was a very intricate dance.~
"We were equals, Lover. But that was when I carried a gasoline can and you carried dear Jonny's cock between your teeth."
"A million years, for her a million pounds."
~Betty seethed equally with living memories and charged into the space. A space where Lilith's elbow obliterated Lessien's nose, dropping her eternal nemesis to both knees. The power, until the form of Lessien came up with splintered chair leg across Lilith's ever so deep skull. Then everything danced for Lilith as her body fell
long
and
hard
to the casino floor. Crossbars, she pressed the chair leg into Lilith's pale throat and blood stained cheek. All of her weight down. Down the hole together. All the weight down, that would have snapped a fragile girl in half quite literally. Lilith was many, many wonderful things but fragile was not one of them. She fought for all the air to live. She fought for every breath.~
"Fight for me, Lilith."
"Don't leave me."
~Alice was always conflicted when it came to Lilith. Slow or fast, she couldn't decide. But Betty had no reservations at all.~
"Don't go, because deep down inside I hate you."
~Struggle! Insane power as Lilith bucked with the wild life. But Lessien pinned and ground her down, skin to skin and blood to blood she kept the wood to the throat until it began to splinter. Everything hung in the balance then. If Lilith erupted again, Lessien would lose her momentary advantage.~
"You don't destroy, Lilith. You simply consume on your pathetic road to self oblivion. These are two completely different things."
~Betty lectured on the science of violence from the top of her head.~
"The images I see."
~Oh, if Alice could have only been Lilith's mirror on the wall. Who knows what could have been. A throne? A family reunion? Orgasmic bliss? But this lifeline was fractured beyond repair. There was no turning back.~
"The reason that I hate you most? You turn around at the last fucking second and live!"
Snap!!!!
~You might have thought it was Lilith that snapped, but it was chair leg shattering across the throat and letting that sweet breath of life back into the starving lungs of Lilith. With that choked, first breath Lessien was sent flying head over ass, while Lilith choked and sputtered on her own, private near death. But the form of Lessien found her feet, rose again and livid.~
"No!! You don't get to turn around this time. You're not that woman anymore. You're not her!!!"
"You're her shadow on the floor."

.. A single, solitary shadow of mine...
...
Was always, worth more, than ALL OF YOU!
Lilith rushes against Lessien once more, tackling her to the ground. She pins her forearm down around Lover-Girl's throat before almost hissing out next to her ear.
.. Let's pretend, I'm not infallible.
Let's pretend.. you're right...
Do you really think, I'm less dangerous...
If I have..
-Nothing, to lose?
Lilith BITES down on Lessien's left earlobe, and HARD. She tugs and nicks at it, drawing blood, before she's tossed unceremoniously off like a bad habit. A bit of a giggle, a chuckle, leaves Lilith as she's rising to her feet slowly. Her mind's clarity had decided to kick back in. Most fortuitous. She picks up a nearby bottle, hoisting it and hurling it at Lover-Girl. Batted away like a foul ball. But it was oh such a fun game to play~ Again, another bottle thrown. Another hit at bat. Lilith's average was dropping. She didn't like pitching.
.. Come on Lover-Girl. I mean really, why are we fighting? We both know deep deep DEEP down in the cockles, sub-cockle areas of our hearts..
We're 'made for each other', yes?
A upturned inflection hangs from her last statement, a wicked grin hangs on her lips. She steps back quickly as Lessien swings another chair around like a stop sign. Lilith managed to escape the chair, but ends up tripping over a fallen one anyway. You know; Cause God HATES Lilith Creighton. Lessien instantly straddles Lilith's fallen body, pressing her weight down atop of her. The two stare at each other for a moment before Lilith begins swinging wildly with her sharpened fingernails. All for naught. Seems that particular game was something Lessien had already Platinum'd at this point.
.. I mean really... who else could have such a deep-
Mid-sentence, Lilith lashes out with her left hand once more, the momentary distraction of her words was enough. She manages to juuuuust barely nick the right side of Lessien's cheek. The two separate, quickly. Lilith rolling back to her feet before leaning against the bar's counter. She pants out slowly, before gently lapping her tongue at the small droplets of blood adorning her sharp-claw like nails.
MMmmmmMmmMMMmmnnn...
.... Hah..
Tastes like Love~

~The blood of Lessien was red and warm with life. It was the same as any others. It was the same as Lilith's and it's mere appearance sent the cross-wired, patch work mentality to another frequency altogether. She became a silent statue as all the voices crashed into numbing static. The sensitive eyes emptied from their double occupancy. The seconds were few, but stretched to their limits before every snapped violently back into its haphazard place. The hand of Lessien raised and touched her own cheek, coming away with a sheen of red.~
"Those were the last words she said."
~Alice's prophecy from the future, where terrible things had happened to Lilith. Things that were about to come true as the form of Lessien moved forward.~
"Vision of your fucking end."
~Lilith's razors slashed again at the throat of Lessien, unguarded and given up for sacrifice as a double axe handle blow connected underneath Lilith's chin. The stars aligned for her and descended as Lessien did, ramming a syringe into neck until it threatened to snap. The plunger sending the contents racing for home.~
"Compliments of a family."
~Betty hissed before bringing her knee crashing into Lilith's infamous sex. Bone to nerves, chemicals to blood in a storm not even Lilith had experienced before. Lilith's body rocked into the first series of convulsions, but Lessien would not let her go. She pried the fluttering eyes wide and watched them expand to blinded black while Lilith's powerful body tried to reject whatever was coursing inside her. A course in futility. The empty syringe scattered across the floor in what should have been the end.~
"Nevermore..."
~That's exactly when Lessien left the carefully plotted script and took a handful of hair, dragging Lilith behind her across the glass scarred floor. She dragged her to where her jacket and cigarettes were, the with great ceremony tossed to the floor while letting Lilith's prefect head strike a stool base. A loud banging on a side door, snapped up Betty's attention for a second. She was supposed to have unlocked it when it was finished and pass Lilith off. But things had change as Betty lit a Lucky Strike, the smoke giving her pause to finally collect her thoughts as Lilith slipped into pathetic convulsions again. Alice and Betty looked down from far above.~
"If I love you, I put a bullet in your head and you thank me 100 years from now, when I join you in hell."
"The only place we belong."
"If I truly hate do hate you, I walk across the room and open the door."
"Things we can not dream."
~The form of Lessien inhales the toxic smoke deep, if Lilith could actually see... she would see the red lines glistening dull and sticky against Lessien's hardened skin. She would see the lines of deep thoughts that only Lilith could have possibly read.~
"And if things are more complicated then that?"
~Betty looked down.~
"Then what the fuck do I do with you?"
~The knocking grew louder until someone yelled 'Knock it down!!!!' That would be the last thing that Lilith would even vaguely remember.~
